How has COVID-19 affected Nagpur?
In many ways, it has affected Nagpur as those who got their jobs this year got a holiday early due to pandemic, the kids who wanted to score higher gotta simple pass, the open stalls in Nagpur suffered a heavy drop in the economy and people suffered as it was regular habit due to exercise in the gym or swimming.
Coronavirus or COVID-19, as we all know, is extremely transmissible. It affects human immunity and can become dangerous among those who, especially the elderly, have other health problems. Business owners and other operations were closed, such as construction, etc. Emergency services such as the police, fire department, water supply facilities, and power boards are available to government buildings with limited workers and functionality.
There are nearly all regions that become a cantonment area, but corona patients, like Satranjipura, Mominpura, Naik Talav, typically affect some of the cantonment regions in Nagpur.
COVID-19 has affected the following things in Nagpur:-

-Slowing of the production of important goods
-Disrupting the food supply chain

-Unnecessary tension among the people.
-Social distancing from our friends and family members
-Closure of restaurants, hotels, and religious places
-Closure of entertainment venues like film and play theatres, sports clubs, gymnasiums, swimming pools, etc.
-Postponement of exams.
There is a huge drop in COVID cases in Nagpur. Also, the recovery rate is higher than before among all age groups in Nagpur city. However, one should not take things lightly and in such cases only best hospital in Nagpur is highly preferable.
On January 2nd at KT Nagar Urban Primary Health Center of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, a dry run of the highly awaited COVID19 vaccine programme was carried out. It was under the supervision of Municipal Commissioner Radhakrishnan B. Last month, intensive training was provided to health workers for the purpose. A full-fledged dry run was also carried out at Daga Hospital and Kamptee Sub District Hospital.
Two teams, each comprising 5 members are deployed. Every day, they will vaccinate 100 people who are registered on the database. The Nagpur vaccination center is also gearing up for the vaccination drive. At the centre, all necessary safety measures have been taken care of. Nevertheless, the situation in Nagpur is improving continuously and we are hoping for the best.
